Powder Trip 2027

Join one of my exclusive small-group trips in January and February 2027, designed for passionate skiers and snowboarders who want to ride the deepest snow and experience authentic local life.

Update: I’m currently in the progress of setting up a service with a certified Japanese ski guide, who has led multiple groups before.

We’ll base ourselves in one of Japan’s legendary snow towns and do daily missions to nearby resorts — always following the best conditions. We’ll handle the driving, take you to the best zones, and even bring you to the best local onsens after a long ski day.

If you’d like, we can also join you for dinners and nightlife to give you a local experience most tourists miss — or leave you to relax and enjoy your evenings privately. It’s all up to you.

Nagano

Home of the 1998 Winter Olympics, Nagano is surrounded by some of Japan’s most famous resorts, including Hakuba and Nozawa Onsen. From big mountain lines to deep tree runs, the options are endless.

Beyond skiing, Nagano offers rich culture, amazing food, and unique local experiences. We can even visit the legendary snow monkeys (and bathe alongside them in a natural onsen!).

Think of Otaru as Sapporo’s charming little sister — a cozy port town right by the ocean, famous for its fresh seafood and historic canal streets.

Just a short drive away are incredible resorts like Kokusai and Kiroro, with the option to head to Niseko for a longer day mission. From deep, consistent Hokkaido powder to lively après-ski dinners, Otaru is the perfect base for riders who want big snow days and unforgettable local nights.

Morioka

Still flying under the radar, Morioka offers a truly local experience without the tourist crowds of places like Niseko or Hakuba. While its resorts may be less famous, gems like Appi Kogen often deliver fresh tracks all day long.

The city itself is known for its friendly vibe, historic castle ruins and local cuisine. It’s the perfect base for adventurous skiers and snowboarders who want to explore Japan’s hidden powder and authentic culture at a slower, more personal pace.

“So go ski Japan this year, or you’ll be one year older when you ski it next year!”
